This week more than 4600 organisations across Australia got the news that they were successful in their grant applications for funding to support their volunteers. In my duty electorates more than $1m will go to local organisations doing amazing work. They include more than 300 groups including the CWA, the Wilcannia Community Tourist Association, the West Broken Hill Football Club, Nowra Warriors Junior Rugby League, Milperra Viking Cricket Club, Goulburn Men’s Shed, Weddin Community Services and Can Assist, Temora.
