This week is National Palliatve Care Week in Australia, and the theme for National Palliative Care Week 2013 is ‘Palliative Care… everyone’s business’. Palliative Care Australia is calling 2013 the year to make palliative care everyone’s business. To ensure that we all have quality care at the end of life, and are able to live and die well, we all need to take responsibility for making this happen.

The Prime Minister has announced a Prime Ministerial Taskforce, to ensure local suppliers are able to bid for government funded projects, and stronger measures will be required in Local Procurement Plans for companies wanting to access Australian tax concessions.
The Government is implementing a substantial tax reform agenda to strengthen and broaden the economy. The Tax Forum is an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues that emerged from the Henry Review last year. Continue reading
The NSW Energymark program is a CSIRO initiative in partnership with the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage helping households lower power bills and reduce our impact on the environment. They’re looking for volunteeers.
