New resource to get families talking about donation wishes

The Government has released the "DonateLife Guide for Community Speakers" to stimulate conversation about organ donation. Developed by the community organisation Gift of Life Inc, the publication aims to promote family discussion on the topic and reduce confusion and misinformation about organ and tissue donation. http://www.donatelife.gov.au/
Gillard Government moves to cut pollution and drive clean energy jobs

The Clean Energy Future (CEF) legislation will encourage investment in clean energy jobs as well as cut carbon pollution substantially. Tax cuts and financial assistance will be introduced to benefit lower and middle income households, while the government will also be supporting jobs as industries transition to cleaner energy solutions.
Country students to benefit from Youth Allowance changes

Changes to Centrelink criteria mean that students from regional areas will have the same access to independent Youth Allowance, whether they come from inner regional or very remote areas. The Government has also increased the value of the Relocation Scholarship for students from these areas.
